Assignment 6

Before boarding the plane I peeked out a widow in the airport and all I could see was white. It was a blizzard outside and there was no sign of stopping. As I was boarding the 747 jetliner I could not stop thinking in my mind what would happen if we got in a crash in the middle of this horrible blizzard and how we all were going to die. Ever since I was a little kid and I watched the movie snakes on a plane I have been deadly scared about riding on planes. Hopefully one day I will overcome this terrifying fear of flying in planes.
I set my alarm for 6 am, which is two hours earlier than normal to spend more time on cleaning my family and living room. At 11:00 I went to the grocery store to buy the meal I was preparing for dinner and all the necessary appetizers. It took my all afternoon to prepare the meal and have it be done by 5:00 so I would have time to get showered and ready for dinner. After all the time I spent getting my house ready and making a nice dinner, my in-laws still thought the meal was bad.
Have you ever thought about committing a crime and if you could get away with it or not? Do you ever think to yourself why would police make a big deal about stealing a pack of gum rather than worry about more important things like murders? I learned all of those answers after I stole a little pack of gum.
