Assignment 4

1. You want your thesis to be your main idea of the whole paper. This statement should relate to all of the main points in your paper and also be restated in your conclusion in different wording.

2. The audience for this essay is my teacher. This will influence me to make sure I covered all of the main points she/he has taught and want us to cover.

3. When writing an academic essay you need to consider a couple things for your thesis. What is your paper about? What has your teacher taught you about theses? How can you make your thesis stand out?

4. To structure your essay so you can effectively communicate with your readers you need to give common examples that you think has happened to the reader or something that everybody can relate to.

5. The best examples and details that will support your main ideas are real examples that people have learned and grown from. Don’t be afraid to go into as much detail was possible, the more the reader can understand the better.

6. The evidence that the reader will find most persuasive is the interesting and compelling evidence. Something that will catch the reader’s eye and makes them want to know more about.

8. I am going to talk to other people about establishing theses and what there take is on it. This will give me a greater knowledge of what people expect for a thesis statement. Getting other peoples opinion makes me more confident about mine, because I know that other people establish their theses the same way.
